Winter Term 2011

Wow! It's already January 2011!

This term I'm teaching Math 65 and Math 95 at PCC as well as Math 111 and Math 243 at Mt Hood. Please post your questions as comments to this post. Include your name, class, and college in the comment or I may not be able to answer your question completely. And remember, although I'm notified about your question almost immediately, please be a little patient and remember I will answer you ASAP!

Hi All,

This first post is to introduce my new blog, "Math Help with Barry". It's designed to be a place where my math students can all go to get help with questions from class. If you are not one of my students, please feel free to browse and learn.

To post a question, go to the blog posting for your TERM and add a comment that contains your question.

There are a few rules for this blog:

1) No profanity or mean spirited comments. This is about learning. Jokes are OK, as long as they are not offensive. I get to decide what is offensive and what is not.

2) Identify yourself by name, class number, and college.

3) State your question as clearly as you can. Keep it simple. If you need to share symbols, formulas, etc., you can send them to barry.edwards3@mac.com.

4) No questions that do not directly relate to my math classes.

I'll check this blog often for your questions.
