ReplyDeleteHi Barry, It's Kyle from math 20. Monday you showed us another way to change fractions to percents when our cheap caiculators wouldn't let us add enough zeros. What was it?
ReplyDeleteReduce the fraction as much as you can "by hand", then use the calculator.
ReplyDeletehi Berry this is Kyle Cassidy from MTH 20 class. If it matters on the final today I forgot to check some of the check W/ calculator boxes. well, I did. Hope to see you next term
ReplyDeleteI'm confused on something for the midterm for Mth244... On question two I've figured out which test to use and am plugging the givens into my formula, but I'm only given the X-bar for both sets of data, not the mu... I'm sure I'm missing something simple here but I've been stuck for a while without any progress from this point.
ReplyDeleteHi Barry its Savannah From mth 244 at MHCC, I have a question on the midterm, question one I know which test to do but I'm fuzzy on how to determine H0 and Ha? as well as which symbol in the test menu to choose for "mue" not equal, equal to, less than or greater than...this class session I missed so I'm a little lost.
ReplyDeleteThank You
Savannah
ReplyDeleteAn important thing to remember is that Ho and Ha are complements or "opposites" as events. Also, Ho ALWAYS has the equality.
The process is to write your claim in words, then write the counter claim in words. Next, you change the two sentences into symbols. FInally, you decide which is Ho and Ha by which one has equality as all or part of it.
If you need more help, see me before class.
Barry
