Hi Barry: On the activity we did in class today #5, we got the confidence interval, but I want to make sure I am wording this correctly. "I'm 95% confident that the true proportion of voters that voted for Joseph Kewl is between 48.8% and 63.2%." Is this correct?
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Hello Professor Edwards. Sorry to ask this silly question but I am not sure what sections are due on Wednesday for homework #4. Is it sections 6.4, 6.5, 6.7 and 7.1? Or does it exclude section 6.4 for now?
ReplyDeleteThank you much.

Math 65
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteI'm completing the group activity assigned on April 24th, a day I was absent. On the back page it asks for the identification of rate, base, and amount as the first step for each problem. I can't find definitions for the terms in section 2.4 and was wondering what they were.
Thanks,
Josie Flores

Hi Barry,
ReplyDeleteI noticed on MHCC's Web site that you will be teaching MTH243 this upcoming Summer term. The schedule on the Web site is a bit confusing, would you be able to provide some clarification?
The schedule follows:
06/24/2013-07/27/2013 | M-W | 6:00p-7:50p
06/24/2013-07/27/2013 | T-R | 6:00p-6:50p
06/24/2013-07/27/2013 | T-R | 7:00p-7:50p
So, does the schedule mean that there will be a class from Monday thru Thursday?
And when does it exactly change from 6:00p-6:50p to 7:00p-7:50p on Tuesdays and Thursdays?
Thank you.
I missed class yesterday (2:30 MTH 60) due to illness (sent email) and need to know what the homework assignment is that is due on the 22nd, please and thank you.
